well starting with the endless lines to just actually be able to park your car anywhere, or exiting after the show,it's a disgrace, poorly organized traffic, nothing changed in 6 years since I've been there!
About the show: Jackie Mason is and was one of my idols, not only I own everything he ever did, on DVD's Casettes and CD's, but I know all his past shows by heart. The first part of the show was old Jackie, being as funny as ever, bringing out the very best, relating to everything and everyone in the audience, non-stop laughter and good old fashioned humor, we loved it!
Little did I know, that after the intermission a totally different Jackie came back with the most insulting political remarks, obviously catering to the mostly republican rednecks of Long Island. The hall became a red/blue state in matter of seconds, but with some booooo's (which I really give credit for those who realized, he went too far)2 days before the election, he became vulgar, disgusting and abnoxious. His facts were wrong, even if it was done in the name of comedy, it was uncalled for, rude and totally dissapointing. I know, he has the right to make his own jokes, entiteled to his opinions, but if this is his belief, than I must say, I will part sadly from his shows in the future.
Jackie, I loved you, but if you think, your show will be a hit this time on Broadway, think again!
You used to be classier than that, even using the f.... word dozens of times was totally unimpressive.
On Broadway, you will have a much tougher audience, the cultured New Yorkers who won't stand for your ex-president Clinton bashing!
Keep it cleaner, please!
