Perlman is Perlman - just can't do any better - however I was disappointed that the piano was so loud. I know there is some type of 'taboo' about amplifying an acoustic instrument however it was devastating to not be able to clearly hear every note. The audience must have felt the same thing - it was unusually difficult to get caught up in the music. Every cough was an intrusion to the sound. It was as if the violin was the accompanist for the piano! So far not impressed with the Disney Concert Hall.
