Show was fabulous, even the comedien was funny. Ronald Isley still has it. Some people said he was lip singing, but I was jamming any way. Had Balcony seats though so I could not tell.
My friend and I drove from Westchester County, NY to Philadelphia to see the Isleys. It was my birthday. We thought it was awesome. It was great to be treated to such inspiring, moving, wanna-hug-my-lover-and-kiss-him-all-over romantic sounds from the Isleys. Ron still has it. He's the consummate professional and so was their presentation. The younger artists of today can stand to learn a thing or two...but, they probably won't. Even though there was no encore, it was acceptable since the show felt utterly complete and wholly satisfying.
