Best Concert EVER
By GUSGUS from British Columbia on 8/5/2008
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great effects, Great Encores, Great Lighting, Great Sound, Perfect Set List
Cons:
Too Short
Best For:
Everyone

Iron Maiden have been around forever but they still know how to show a crowd a good time. By far the best concert Ive ever attended. The crowd was into it, the pyrotechnics and effects were amazing and the music was incredible, but that goes without saying.

Iron Maiden Concert Tickets

English heavy metal mavens Iron Maiden have been bringing it to headbangers and hard rockers the world over since the late 1970s. The echoing pitch of lead singer Bruce Dickinson has brought that distinct Maiden sound to hits like “Children of the Damned,” “Run to the Hills” and “Stranger in a Strange Land.” Along with their mascot Eddie, the band has gained legions of loyal fans that clamor for Iron Maiden tickets whenever the band goes on tour.

Iron Maiden’s self-titled debut album gained Platinum and Gold certification in Europe and the UK. From that time forward the rocker’s popularity and reach climbed. In 1980, shortly after their first album release, the band hit the road to tour with Kiss, demonstrating their potential to draw an audience early on. After the release of their follow-up effort “Killers” in 1981, Iron Maiden toured with entrenched acts again when they opened for Judas Priest. It was this tour that saw Maiden make their first appearance in the United States in Las Vegas.

Throughout the 1980s and into the 1990s, Iron Maiden perfected their signature sound while moving into some experimentation with layering strings and adding keyboards. Continuing their habit of embarking on tours with other big names, the band rolled into Monsters of Rock playing with Megadeth and Guns N’ Roses. Though there was some upheaval in the 1990s when front man Dickinson left the band, all returned to rockin’ status quo when he rejoined for “Brave New World.” Since that time they have continued to lay numerous successful efforts on the music industry such as “Flight 666” and “The Final Frontier.”

Truly an industry standard that set the benchmark for all who followed them, concertgoers continue to spout accolades “best concert EVER” and “thought I was 17 again!” Grab your opportunity to see one of the greatest metal bands of all time; purchase your Iron Maiden concert tickets now!
