I WOULDN'T GIVE MY EXPERIENCE UP FOR A MILLION BUCKS. INDIA.ARIE IS AN AMAZING PERFORMER, SHE GET'S YOU INTO HER MUSIC EVEN IF YOU'VE NEVER HEARD HER MUSIC BEFORE. IN THE LAST YEAR I'VE ALREADY BEEN TO 3 CONCERTS SHE'S HAD AND I ENJOYED EVERY ONE OF THEM. SO TO ALL WHO'S WONDERING IF SHE IS A TRUE PERFORMER BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. MY 16 MO. DAUGHTER NAME IS INDIA AND I CAN ONLY HOPE SHE BE AS TALENTED AS THE ORIGINAL INDIA.ARIE. GOD BLESS YOU INDIA.ARIE
This is a show to see over and over again. India Arie was stunning;her performance was amazing and engaging. Robin Thicke makes me want to dance! Both performers engaged the audience and integrated the reaction of the audience into their performances. This made each song meaningful.
Things didn't gp as planned. The show was surprize for my boyfriend's 30th birthday, we had tier 1 seating front row. We arrived early to have dinner in the Terra Rosa Room (he only knew that we were going to dinner/he had never been to the grove). When we pulled into the empty parking lot, we were informed that the show had been postponed. India had lost her voice. What a let down for a surprize. I kept this a secret for over a month.
I have always been a fan of India's, but after the concert I was an even bigger fan!! Her concert was the bomb! The audience was on their feet over half of the time.
