Thanks to the success of acts like Skrillex and David Guetta, electronic dance music has risen to become one of the most popular genres in the world, and the Identity Festival brings some of the biggest names to venues across the country. Since it launched in 2011, Identity Festival tickets have become a hot commodity.
The 2012 Identify Festival tour kicks off on July 29 in Cincinnati, before taking off across the country, and bringing many of the most popular electronic dance music names with it. After leaving Cincinnati, the tour hits everywhere from Miami to Houston to San Diego before wrapping up in Phoenix on August 18.
Perhaps the biggest name to be brought along for the ride is Eric Prydz. The "Call On Me" hitmaker is recognized by many in the industry as one of the most talented DJs, and his debut 2012 album recently hit stores to much acclaim.
Though Prydz may be the most recognizable name, he certainly is not the only talented artist on the tour. The young Canadian musician Datsik, Grammy winner Paul van Dyk and Porter Robinson will all be taking the stage on tour.
One of the youngest festivals in the music world, Identity Festival has attracted many big names in electronic dance music.
