Ice Earth Concert Tickets

Iced Earth is a 1980s heavy metal band best known for songs like “Plagues of Babylon,” “Dystopia,” “I Died For You,” “Stormrider,” “Ten Thousand Strong” and “When the Eagle Cries.” Iced Earth developed their sound in the 1970s, influenced by rock gods like Kiss, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult and Alice Cooper. Dedicated to the hard and heavy style of rock that permeated the music scene in the 70s, Iced Earth developed its own sound and became a permanent fixture in halls of rock ’n’ roll history. Buy your Iced Earth tickets today and enjoy a night with one of the most influential heavy metal bands in American history.

Iced Earth began as an idea in the minds of guitarist Jon Schaffer and drummer Greg Seymour and formed under the name Purgatory in 1985. The group decided to change its name to Iced Earth prior to its 1990 self-titled debut album. Iced Earth quickly followed up with 1991’s progressive, heavy metal concept album Night of the Stormrider. Although both albums were successful, Iced Earth took a two-year long hiatus from the rock scene following the release of Night of the Stormrider. The group came back with a vengeance in 1995, releasing Burnt Offerings, its heaviest album yet.
