Hot Tuna Concert Tickets

The name Hot Tuna might be best reserved for a sub shop rather than a band, but it's perhaps the unique title that earned the 1970s rockers a place in the sun. Fans who pick up Hot Tuna tickets are in for a face-melting, unparalleled LIVE performance.

Even though the unique name resonates with many rock fans now, the group consisting of founding members Jack Casady and Jorma Kaukonen, actually started out as Hot Sh*t before changing it due to a request from their label RCA. Hot Tuna started out as a side project for Casady and Kraukonen, who both played in the already popular band Jefferson Airplane, but quickly became a passion for the two men.

Hot Tuna's self-titled debut LP dropped in 1970 and the group added more instruments and Airplane members on the second album, First Pull Up, Then Pull Down. By 1972, the band released its third record, Burgers. Over the years Hot Tuna has broken up, gotten back together and added and dropped members, but they continued to put on LIVE performances regularly touring until 2006. Then, in 2011, Hot Tuna went back in the studio recording, Steady as She Goes, their first album in 20 years. Now, you have the chance to see Hot Tuna perform LIVE again! Don't miss your chance to see them rock the stage! Buy your Hot Tuna tickets today!
