Holiday Pops Concert Tickets

Few traditions are more anticipated than the annual Holiday Pops concerts. Put on by the Boston Pops Orchestra, the long running show has been a staple of the holiday season for decades, and families from across the country pick up Holiday Pops tickets as part of their yuletide experience.

The Boston Pops were founded in the mid 1890s as a popular offshoot of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, but it was not until 1973 that the group started putting on its now-iconic holiday shows. Since then, the annual show has been a popular place for families to listen to Christmas favorites such as "Sleigh Ride" and the "Hallelujah Chorus."

Unlike more traditional symphony shows, Holiday Pops is unique in that it adds a theatrical element to the performance. The event is accompanied by a narration, which has ranged from Twas the Night Before Christmas to the famous newspaper staple Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. Not only that, but St. Nick himself often shows up.

There's nothing quite like experiencing Christmas music in a live setting, and nobody does it better than the Boston Pops Orchestra.
