I saw Gn'R last night at the 1st Bank Event Center in Broomfield/Denver, CO. It was the best concert ever, with Axl still able to hit those high registers and still able to wail like a 25 yo. While it's not the original lineup, this new version of Gn'R is amazing. DJ Ashba, Richard Fortus, and Bumblefoot rocked the house with their incredible guitar playing. They all interacted with the crowd, and the crowd was definitely into the concert. Axl behaved himself and actually smiled on stage several times. The energy and cohesiveness these guys all have is obvious, and they all really want to be there entertaining YOU. I walked away knowing that if Gn'R ever comes through Denver again, I will definitely be getting tickets; in fact, they can't come back soon enough. Well worth the 3.5 hr wait outside in the cold to ensure I got right in front of the stage (which I did) and well worth the money spent on the ticket. Would do it all over again if I had the chance!!!
