This is an AMAZING band, playing music that is truely fun and a joy to hear in concert! The music is energetic, full of harmony and humor and traditional sounds that make it unique. Some of the humor is a bit adult, but in a way that, in my experience, goes over the head of anyone not "ready" for it, and smacks straight into the funny bone of anyone who is. Every single person I've introduced to Great Big Sea's music has not only loved it, but has continued to listen to it for years. And they are a band who has FUN with the crowd, very interactive and playful. This show was my favorite, because instead of an opening act, GBS played TWO FULL SETS!
