NYC's Beacon Theater Dec 30 2006. Mississippi Allstars opened. Warren came out to add some slide on a couple numbers and give the audience a taste of what was coming. Awesome interaction between the bands! Mule came out and played -the sound of the Soldano and Diaz rigs on that stage 30 feet away with Warren playing was just unmatched! The Beacon floated on a sweet haze of icky and the sound of Warren's Les Paul peeling flakes of paint away on select stinging passages just burned the experience into my memory forever - the fact that the Beacon was coming under new management after this show (getting sucked up by the owners of MSG) made this show extra special too.
Great show you can't really say anything bad about warren haynes I mean come on who do you think you are only thing that I noticed is that upstairs if you weren't on the balcony rail you couldn't see very well and the sound was almost echoy up there but otherwise would definetly catch another show at house of blues

we went to nyc for nye and we wished they would have played more mule tracks. we felt they were more of a cover band and could have played more of the own stuff! venue ran out of bottled water after the first set and they played well after 2:00 am. very poor!
Great show, I only wish Mule played a little more from Dose and a song or two from their first CD
