Godsmack Rocked the Opera House

Godsmack rocked The opera House in Boston and I am happy to say had seats 2 rows back. The guys in the band seemed truely happy to be back home and we very interactive with the audience.

Godsmack Concert Tickets
Over the last 20 years, the world of heavy metal has been dominated by Godsmack. The Massachusetts-based band has enjoyed considerable success in the mainstream and managed to sell a whopping 20 million albums in just 10 years. The group continues to be successful today as Godsmack tickets are still a popular item.

Godsmack was founded in 1995 by lead singer Sully Erna, after his band of 20 years broke up. After touring bars throughout Boston, Erna and his newly-formed band released its self-titled debut album in 1998 and it was an immediate hit, eventually being certified quadruple platinum. The band immediately took to the festival circuit and hit up Ozzfest with Tool and Staind before heading over to Warped tour to play with Rancid and Bad Religion. Godsmack's career was certainly off to a fast start, but they would not slow down.

Godsmack hit its stride with the 2003 album Faceless, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 charts, somewhat of a rarity for a heavy metal album. The record remains one Godsmack's most popular releases and includes the singles "I Stand Alone" and "Serenity." By this time Godsmack were headlining their own tours as well as sharing the stage with giants like Metallica.

Throughout the rest of the decade, Godsmack continued to sit atop the heavy metal world, and if their legions of fans are any indication, it will likely be a long time before they are unseated.
