It was fun and awesome with the diversity in bands, yet they all played guitar really well.

Gigantour 2006
By Tittie Hernandez from New york, NY on 10/2/2006
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Sound
Bad organization of bands, No encores, Not enough people showed
Best For:

I saw Gigantour 2006 at the Nassau Colisseum in NY. The turnout for the concert was disappointingly small. They had Arch Enemy go on stage before Overkill, and because I was late, I missed them. The sound and lights were good, but there just seemed to be something missing. Opeth put on a good show, despite the fact that there was an idiot screaming for them to "get off the stage, [...]." Lamb of God provided the biggest turnout, and after they got off the stage, half the stadium left. Megadeth rocked, but the highly anticipated encore never came. All in all, I wouldn't be too quick to rank this concert experience as one of the best. I think I've had more fun at CBGB's.

Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Lighting, Great Sound
lackof security
Best For:

show was great, however,BEWARE of NYC public transit...had to take umpteen trains, subways and buses and taxis.THAT SUCKED BIG made it all worthwhile to get to see a legend like dave mustaine, and we also got to see ground zero earlier that was so lax that anyone could have snuck a weapon into the coliseum, and that made me uneasy.
