Great game for the home team! Started out as a pretty close game, until Georgetown slowly and steadily pulled away. Great atmosphere to enjoy a good game.

Georgetown Hoyas Men's College Basketball Tickets
The Big East Conference has historically had some of the best teams in college basketball, and it all started with one of the founding members - the Georgetown Hoyas. With impressive consistency, the Hoyas have been at the center of the sport for decades and picking up some Georgetown men's basketball tickets and going to a game will offer insight as to why.

Though the Hoyas' first team dates as far back as 1907, it was not until the 1970s when they began to see regular success. The turnaround was due in large part to the leadership of iconic coach John Thompson. By the '80s, Georgetown was one of the best teams in the country. Then, in 1984, led by future NBA star Patrick Ewing, the Hoyas took home their first National Championship when they defeated Houston. Along with Ewing, Georgetown has a long list of players who have gone on make an impact at the professional level. Alonzo Mourning and Dikembe Mutmbo both played at the school in the late '80s, while Allen Iverson went on to become one of the best guards of all time.

Teams as good as Georgetown are not without its rivals and Syracuse stands above the rest as far as contentions go. The two teams have played in some legendary college basketball match-ups over the years, many of which decided the Big East.
