G-Eazy Tickets

Sometimes referred to as the James Dean of rap, West Coast artist G-Eazy has made quite a name for himself with hits such as “Runaround Sue,” “I Mean It” and “Lady Killers.” Known for his tireless work ethic, one-of-a-kind live performances and loyalty to his fans, G-Eazy has become a low-key superstar - a quiet icon if you will. With both mainstream appeal and respect within his genre, G-Eazy has garnered critical acclaim and even been deemed “The Young Elvis.” Buy your G-Eazy tickets now to experience an artist that is making an indelible mark on the hip-hop scene.

Dorm room days
G-Eazy was born Gerald Earl Gillum in Oakland, California. He became interested in hip hop at a young age and put together a rap collective known as the Bay Boyz. The group gained some local recognition and released a number of tracks on a MySpace page before G-Eazy left for college. Gillum decided to attend Loyola University New Orleans specifically because the school had a respected music industry program. During his tenure as a student, G-Eazy worked tirelessly on creating mixtapes and expanding his fan base. In 2011, he released The Endless Summer, which would be his early claim to fame and included the singles “Runaround Sue” and “Waspy.”

After graduating, G-Eazy hit the road with the Vans Warped Tour and then continued on the Excellent Adventure Tour joined by Hoodie Allen. As he toured, G-Eazy recorded and produced his breakout full-length album, Must Be Nice. He released the LP independently and it soon reached the No. 3 position on the iTunes Hip Hop Chart.

Becoming an icon
Though G-Eazy’s songs may not always enjoy mainstream airplay, the rapper has a fan following that is unmatched. When G-Eazy embarked on his first headline tour in 2013, he easily sold out shows across the nation in locales spanning from NYC to Seattle. With such success, Paste Magazine named G-Eazy on of its top artists to watch that same year.

In summer 2014, G-Eazy dropped his first studio full-length titled These Things Happen, which was released by BPG, RVG and RCA Records. The album not only topped the Billboard Hip Hop/R&B chart, but also reached the No. 3 position on the Billboard 200. These Things Happen quickly set G-Eazy apart as an influential up-and-comer in hip-hop music and secured the praise of critics from The New York Times, Vibe and other major publications.
