Game is great. Resellers are scalpers.
By WW from Birmingham on 12/8/2009
Pros:
High Energy, The Crowd Loved It
Cons:
Difficult Parking
Best For:
Everyone

The venue is really great. Ticket prices, from the re-sellers, are really high. The tactic used to be illegal and should be again.

Gator Bowl Football Tickets

One of the oldest post-season college football games, the Gator Bowl has certainly earned its place among the most anticipated games of the season. Since it was first held in 1946, the contest has featured some of the best teams and legendary players in the sport's lengthy history, and picking up Gator Bowl tickets is the dream of many college football fans across the country.

The first Gator Bowl featured Wake Forest versus South Carolina, and the Demon Deacons came away with a 24-16 victory. In the decades since then, the game has grown by leaps and bounds and today is played in the friendly confines of EverBank Field, the home of the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars. It also holds a place as one of the several bowl games held Jan. 1, which have all become New Year's Day traditions.

In its more than 65-year history, the Gator Bowl has featured many exciting match-ups, but one of the best games came within the last several years. The 2007 Gator Bowl between West Virginia and Georgia Tech featured a stunning comeback by the Mountaineers. Down by 18 in the third quarter, West Virginia quarterback Pat White led his team to 21 unanswered points to capture the title 38-35.
