Future Islands Concert Tickets

The synth-heavy, ethereal sounds of Future Islands take the modest-looking three-piece band and transform them into a powerhouse of indie synthpop. Led by Samuel T. Herring, a stunning vocalist known to don khakis and a tucked-in shirt, Future Islands allows listeners to get lost in rhythmic, fast-paced undulations that make their music eerily perfect for dancing. Herring is likely to lead the charge, moving around the stage in unabashed steps that are as captivating and as his vocals. Future Islands tickets are a great way to go out and get moving on the dance floor.

Future Islands began as a group of East Carolina University art students making music, but  the members split up after graduating. Samuel Herring, William Cashion and J. Gerrit Welmers continued playing together and started performing under the name Future Islands. After creating three full-length albums together, Future Islands got signed to the Indie label 4AD in 2013. The band’s next album, Singles, got them a spot on the “Late Show with David Letterman.” Future Islands’s appearance on the show brought them a tremendous amount of attention in the indie rock community and has propelled them into the spotlight as a great electro-pop band that continues to impress.
