Foals Concert Tickets

Foals is known for being one of the leading bands in the UK indie music scene. The group was formed in the mid-2000s by Youthmovies lead vocalist Andrew Mears. He recruited guitarist Yannis Philippakis and drummer Jack Bevan from the math rock group The Edmund Fitzgerald as well as guitarist Jimmy Smith and bassist Walter Gervers from the band Face Meets Grill. Mears dropped out of the band after the release of it’s first single “Try This On Your Piano” to focus on his other group. After Mears’ departure, Philippakis stepped up to the lead vocalist position and Edwin Congreave was added on the keyboard despite having never played the instrument before.Grab a couple Foals tickets to hear their indie pop rock jams for yourself!

Only one member of the band - Jimmy Smith - completed his college degree requirements. The other band members dropped out of their respective schools when they signed to their first label, Transgressive Records in 2007. Often compared to such contemporaries as VHS or Beta and The Futureheads, Foals’ up-beat post-punk sound makes for one of the most fun concerts around.
