Fitz and The Tantrums Concert Tickets

With a charming retro sound and indie appeal, it's no wonder Fitz and The Tantrums tickets sell out fast. This Los Angeles-based band has garnered a devoted fan base for their Motown-influenced soul melodies, made unique with modern pop twists. Today, hits like "Don't Gotta Work It Out" and "MoneyGrabber" can be heard on stereos across the country.

Fitz and The Tantrums is the brainchild of Michael "Fitz" Fitzpatrick, who takes on lead vocals, keyboard and songwriting duties. The act was born as a solo project in 2008, from the compositions Fitzpatrick had written using an old church organ. But he didn't want to do the same thing every indie-pop act was doing, so he decided to exclude an American music staple - the guitar. The tracks are comprised largely of keyboard, percussion, saxophone, flute and bass.

But the lack of guitar doesn't scare listeners away. Fitz and The Tantrums have made the lineup at huge music festivals, like South by Southwest and Wakarusa. The group became part of the Elektra Records family in 2012, not long after Rolling Stone named it a "band to watch" and after it hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts for the album, Pickin' Up the Pieces.
