Duke Blue Devils College Football Tickets
When most people think of Duke University, their first thought may be of its legendary basketball program, but the Blue Devils college football team has been making headlines of its own for well over 110 years. The history of Duke football dates as far back as 1895, and the Blue Devils achieved a great level of success in the early part of the 20th century. From 1936 through 1945, Duke ended the year in the AP Top 25 each season. The tradition continued well into the 1960s, and though it has been some time Duke has replicated the long string of success, the high standard of excellence and passionate fan base has not wavered.

Duke enjoyed a resurgence in the late 1980s and into the 1990s, when then-coach Steve Spurrier helped make them a regular contender in the ACC at a time when Florida State dominated the conference. Spurrier even helped Anthony Dilweg capture ACC Player of the Year honors in 1988.
