Drake Concert Tickets

Drake, the mono-monikered performer born Aubrey Drake Graham, is an R&B star that got his start on the TV show “Degrassi: The Next Generation.” The Canadian born talent played the role of Jimmy Brooks from 2001 to 09, overlapping his music career by a few years.

Hailing from Canada, Drake was first recognized for his role as Jimmy Brooks on the MTV hit Degrassi: The Next Generation. The rapper and singer busted onto the scene in 2006 with a series of mixtapes and notable support from big-timers. Similar to other artists breaking onto the scene in a digital age, Drake offered up his first mixtape Room for Improvement via MySpace in early 2006.

His 2007 follow-up release Comeback Season contained the single “Replacement Girl,” a tune featuring Trey Songz. That year Lil Wayne was passed some of Drake’s music, leading to an invitation to Houston for the young up-and-comer to record and tour with the infamous Weezy. For a virtual unknown on the scene, Drake tickets sold like nobody’s business.

In 2009 Drake released his last mixtape So Far Gone before being signed to a label later that year. The track got immediate exposure on BET as the "Joint of the Day," and the rapper was able to have his pick of a major record label. So Far Gone won him a number of awards, including the 2010 Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year. With big names like Jay-Z, Eminem and Kanye West leaving their fingerprints on So Far Gone, it’s no wonder that singles “Best I Ever Had” and “Successful” went Platinum and Gold, respectively.

His official debut album Thank Me Later was released in 2010 after several delays. His first full-length album made it to No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. He followed up the successful release with his sophomore effort, Take Care, in 2011. Songs like “Over” and “Find Your Love” saw the effort chart and gain certification in Canada, the UK and the US. Take Care, Drake’s 2011 release, also saw great marketable success with tunes “Make Me Proud” featuring Nicki Minaj and “Take Care” featuring Rihanna.

The musician's wide fan base had a lot to do with his collaborations with musicians like The-Dream, Jay-Z, Kings of Leon, Kanye West and Lil Wayne. Be there to see this rising rap-star put on an epic show. Grab your chance to be awed by the up-and-comer when you buy your Drake tickets now!
