Donavon Frankenreiter Concert Tickets

If you’re a fan of musician Jack Johnson, you’ll love what artist Donavon Frankenreiter has to offer. He has a style similar to Johnson's, boasting a laid-back, beachy vibe. In fact, the two share a long friendship, learning to play the guitar together and sharing a passion for surfing. Frankenreiter was born and raised in Southern California before moving to Hawaii at the age of 14. Experience Frankenreiter’s unique, soft-rock sounds live by getting your Donavon Frankenreiter tickets today.

Frankenreiter’s musical career started out when he played in a local rock band known as Sunchild during his teenage years. His solo career launched in 2002 when he got in touch with Johnson, who had began his own label, Brushfire Records. Johnson helped Frankenreiter release his self-titled musical debut in 2004.

In 2006, Frankenreiter joined a new label, Lost Highway, and came out with another record, Move by Yourself. Around 2008, he made the move to Kauai, which had an impact on his musical style, guiding him toward more island-like instruments such as the ukulele, lap steel and slack key guitar.

His fifth studio album, Start Livin’, was released in 2012 and focuses on his life in Hawaii with his wife and their two kids. Each song exudes a brightness and positivity that attracts listeners.
