Disco Biscuits Concert Tickets

Disco Biscuits is a jam band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that formed in 1995. The group is made up of Jon Gutwillig, Sam Altman, Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner. They all met on the University of Pennsylvania campus, formed the group and began playing at fraternity parties and nightclubs all over the state. Get your Disco Biscuits tickets and hear them defy the genres of music with a unique mix of classical, rock, techno and jazz.

The band released their first album, Encephalous Crime, in 1996. They signed with Hydroponics Records in 1998, and went on to release their second album, The Uncivilized Area. This record became popular with fans of the Dave Mathews Band, Phish and Widespread Panic, as it reflects the same quirky nature of those performers.

Their third record, They Missed the Perfume, was released in 2001 and was vastly different from their previous work. It was composed using computerized beats on a Macintosh G4. The song "Mindless Dribble" was among the most popular tracks on the album. Their fourth record, Senior Boombox came out just one year later as the Disco Biscuits worked to mature their sound. Guitarist Jon Gutwillig contributed the tracks "Hope" and "Jigsaw Earth."
