Dirty Projectors Concert Tickets

With unusual time signatures, strange harmonies and a cadre of talented musicians, the Dirty Projectors are among the most innovative and unique bands touring today. The Brooklyn-based band is fronted by enigmatic lead singer David Longstreth, who has helped grown the band into a favorite on the indie scene, where Dirty Projectors tickets are popular items whenever the group comes to town.

Dirty Projectors began as a Longstreth solo project in 2002. During that time, he released several albums under his own name, and the band as it is known today didn't start to come together until 2007 when Amber Coffman joined the group. She lent backing vocals on the album Rise Above, but for Dirty Projectors' next release - 2009's Bitte Orca - she became a much more central part of the band, which turned out to be a smart move.

Bitte Orca was the band's first big breakthrough hit, with songs such as "Cannibal Resource" and "Temecula Sunrise" helping it achieve moderate success. The album was a segway to sharing the stage with larger acts like Bjork, Feist and David Byrne. However, it was the 2012 follow-up Swing Lo Magellan that helped put Dirty Projectors on the map. Widely recognized as one of the best albums of the year, the record cracked the top five on the Billboard Rock charts.
