He's worked with artists such as Britney Spears, Shakira, Robyn, Santigold and Missy Elliot. Purchase your Diplo tickets today, and watch one of the most talented DJs of this generation spin behind the decks.

Born in Tupelo, Miss., Diplo grew up watching music videos on MTV while working at his father’s bait shop. As a teen, he fell in love with the Miami music scene, especially songs that incorporated the Miami Bass style. During college, Diplo began producing his own music at Temple University in Philadelphia, where he also studied film and music.

In 2004, he released his debut album, Florida, which received praise in the underground community. Later that year, he collaborated with Indian singing sensation M.I.A. for the mixtape “Piracy Funds Terrorism.” The two worked on her debut album, Arular, and her sophomore effort, Kala, which featured the track “Paper Airplanes.” Diplo received a Grammy nod for “Paper Airplanes,” beginning his career as one of the most widely sought-after producers in the music industry.
