Dion Concert Tickets

The era between late-50s rock and the British invasion only lasted a few years, but Dion helped make it a memorable period in American music. A skilled singer and guitarist, he deftly blended all the popular elements of the day - from R&B to doo wop - and today his legions of fans still line up to purchase Dion tickets.

Dion got his start performing on street corners with his friends, but it quickly took off from there. The group, known as Dion and the Belmonts, released a number of popular records during the late-50s, but when 1960 rolled around he decided it was time to go solo. During the early years of the decade, he scored hits with songs such as "The Wanderer" and "Runaround Sue," both of which remain classics five decades later.

Over the next 10 years, Dion's sound was continually changing, but he still retained that pop sensibility that helped bring him into the public eye. Though he has been in the music industry for well over 50 years, he is a regular performer. His 2012 album Tank Full of Blues, was a critical favorite and proved that Dion still has it.
