Delta Rae consists of Elizabeth Hopkins and siblings Ian, Eric and Brittany Holljes. The band formed in 2009, performing in clubs and small venues throughout its native North Carolina. As Delta Rae’s fame grew, record companies began to court the group. In 2011, the band decided to sign with Sire Records, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Records. Delta Rae astounded the head of Sire, Seymour Stein, who immediately gave them the record deal. The rest is history. Delta Rae’s 2012 debut album, Carry the Fire, was well- received by both critics and the public, earning them invitations to perform at music festivals across the U.S.
