Incredible show
By jeloco from Bend Oregon on 4/27/2009
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores
Best For:
Adults

Dave Mason very underated, If you think he is washed up, think again, he played and sounded just as good as he always did. Go see this show if he plays near you. The tickets were very cheap, his latest album is hot.....A must see show.

Vintage Dave Mason
By Vic Z from St. Louis, MO on 9/13/2008
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Sound
Cons:
Seats too close together

Dave Mason has been sorely unappreciated as an artist. This was a unique opportunity to see him in the later stage of his long career. Though I would like to have seen him play for about another 30 minutes, I heard most of my favorite Mason songs.

My wife had no clue who Dave was, but after seeing the show, she said she would go to his show in a second. Great interaction with the fans.

Dave Mason Concert Tickets

David Mason is an English singer/songwriter and guitarist from Worcester, who first made a name for himself as a member of the classic 1960s and 70s rock band Traffic. He's been on his own since leaving Traffic in 1968, and you'll definitely want to see this brilliant singer/songwriter on stage by getting your Dave Mason tickets now.

His love for music started at the age of 16, when he began playing the guitar. At 17, he became a working musician in his first band, The Jaguars. The next year, he struck up a lifelong friendship with Jim Capaldi after they formed The Hellions. They penned their first song together called "Shades of Blue." Through Capaldi, Dave met Steve Winwood and Chris Wood, who would join forces in March, 1967 to make up Traffic, one of the most influential rock bands of all time.

Mason left Traffic in 1968 and moved to Los Angeles to join Delaney & Bonnie & Friends in 1969. In 1970, he signed a contract with Blue Thumb Records and released his debut solo album, Alone Together. Featuring the hit single "Only You and I Know," the record went gold in the U.S.

While he was achieving solo success, he continued to work with other groups, serving temporarily as a second guitarist in Eric Clapton's band Derek and the Dominos. He also recorded with George Harrison on his 1970 album All Things Must Pass, and even formed a duo with 'Mama' Cass Elliot. He and Elliot recorded an album, Dave Mason & Cass Elliot, which was released in February, 1971.
