Dave Koz Concert Tickets

It's certainly not easy to have a pop career as a jazz musician, but Dave Koz managed to do just that. A talented saxophonist, the California native has been entertaining the masses for more than 20 years, and with a loyal fan base that picks up Dave Koz tickets whenever they're available, it's hard to imagine him going anywhere anytime soon.

Koz got his start in the music industry in the 1980s largely as a session performer. He played with the likes of Jeff Lorber and Richard Marx, while also playing in the house band for The Pat Sajak Show. However, by 1990, it was evident he was destined for a solo career. He released his self-titled debut later that year, a move which helped set him down the path to superstardom.

Throughout the 90s, Koz continued to grow his mainstream appeal. While he was well known in jazz circles, his popularity grew among wider audiences as well. By the 2000s, he was a household name, and his 2007 album At the Movies - an album that featured cinematic standards such as "Over the Rainbow" and "A Whole New World," reached the No. 2 spot on Billboard Jazz Albums chart while performing well on the Billboard 200.
