Rolling Stones Rock Wichita
By StarQz from Tulsa, Oklahoma on 7/26/2007
Pros:
Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great Lighting, Great Sound, I got the RS's attention, Perfect Set List
Cons:
Too Short
Best For:
Best esp 4 TRUE fans, Everyone, Weather was GREAT

saw the Rolling Stones for the 1st time ever in Wichita on 9/1/06. I paid for 5th row tickets, but I sat in the 1st row, right near the ramp where Mick Jagger stood most of the time. Mick noticed me early on in the show; he kept looking down and smiling at me from the very beginning. When the band played Tumbling Dice, I had a GGW moment, and the next thing I know, I am flashing my [...]! Mick's response was to stare at me at first, and then he lifted up the side of his own shirt and showed me his man-[...]! Seriously! He paid attention to me throughout the show, he even ran over to my side of the stage at the beginning of Satisfaction and looked directly at me while he sang it. At the end when the Stones were waving their final good-byes, I caught Micks eye, blew him a kiss, and I waved bye to him. Mick waved back at me, and while making direct eye contact with me, he said Bye back! I was that close to him! It was the best concert I have EVER been to before, and I can't wait til I have another chance to see them!

The old @#$%&*% can still play
By Gonzo from L.A. on 11/30/2006
Pros:
AMAZING stage audio SFX
Cons:
Wish Raitt played longer
Best For:
Any fan of rock

I thought I'd seen enough of the Stones -- but my wife dragged me along. Glad I didn't miss it. What the Stones have lost in energy, they more than make up for with the most impressive production on the planet. It started with a stage structure that was taller than the scoreboards at Dodger Stadium, and got better from there. It may seem like it, but the Stones won't be around forever. See 'em when you can.

The Stones put on a great concert. This is the second time my girlfriend and I have seen them this year. We both agree they put on one of the best performances out there.[...]

Rolling Stones experience
By Mad Man from Long Beach, CA on 11/25/2006
Pros:
Incredible musicians
Cons:
Getting in was hard
Best For:
Everyone

Well i first had a problem with getting in to park, because the price to park was $20.00. I only had $15.00 on me and they would not take credit cards or checks. But it worked out great because i found a parking space in front of the police accadamy. I made it there just in time for the Rolling Stones. The concert was amazing. No wonder they are called the greatest rock and roll band in the world. [...] I can't beleave they still sound so good and have been doing this for a long time. I'm sad for Mick Jagger when i found out he lost his dad. We love you Mick and i know what it's like to lose your dad. I have been a fan for a long time and it is amazing that Mick can still perform under such presure. And also Keith Richerds guitar playing was ausome to. I also seen them at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and was a little closer then doger stadium. It was great when they closed the show with the song (Brown Suger). The whole crowed was in to it and it seem no one could get enough of the show. I hope they come back next year. Thank's Tyler Prosser
