Cincinnati Bearcats College Basketball Tickets

Cincinnati has a long history as one of the best sports towns in the country, and anyone who needs any evidence can look at the University of Cincinnati basketball program. The school has been taking to the hardwood for more than 100 years, and picking up Cincinnati Bearcats basketball tickets offers a clear example of the city's passionate sports fans.

Cincinnati can trace its basketball history as far back as 1901, but it wasn't until the middle of the 20th century that the Bearcats hit their stride. After a handful of tournament appearances, Cincinnati made the Final Four in 1959 and 1960 behind the stellar play of Oscar Robertson, but it was nothing compared to what happened next. Under the leadership of coach Ed Jucker, Cincy made three straight title games, capturing the championship in 1961 and 1962 against Ohio.

The Bearcats firmly established themselves as a national power during the 1960s, and despite a lull in the 80s, they returned with vengeance once the 1990s rolled around and they became a postseason staple. Under coach Bob Huggins, the Bearcats made it to an impressive 14-straight NCAA Tournaments.

Over the last decade, Cincinnati has established itself as one of the most consistent programs in the country, sending big name players like Kenyon Martin and Lance Stephenson to the NBA.
