Cincinnati Bearcats Baseball Tickets

The Cincinnati Bearcats are a well-respected and highly successful Division I collegiate baseball program. They had their first year of official baseball over a century ago in 1888, and have had five appearances in the NCAA tournament, with their most recent one occurring in 1974. The Bearcats play in Marge Schott Stadium, which replaced Johnny Bench field in 2006 and is named after one of the former owners of the Cincinnati Reds. The stadium uses artificial turf and seats 3,085 fans. Marge Schott Stadium was named by players and coaches as the best baseball facility in the Big East in 2006, making Cincinnati Bearcats tickets a great gift for any baseball enthusiast.

The Bearcats have had a handful of notable alumni, including Hall of Fame baseball player Sandy Koufax. Surprisingly, Koufax was actually a walk-on member of the University of Cincinnati Men’s Basketball team before ever making the varsity baseball team. Koufax was the first ever Major League Baseball player to win three separate Cy Young Awards and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1972. He played his entire professional career for the Brooklyn Dodgers (who moved to California and became the Los Angeles Dodgers) between the years of 1955 and 1966.
