Chromeo Concert Tickets

Disco groves, high-energy melodies and falsetto vocals have made Chromeo one of the most dance-worthy electro pop duos around. David Macklovitch and Patrick Gemayel make up the Canadian duo that formed in the early 2000s and has made waves in with funk-induced electronic pop ever since. After the release of Fancy Footwork in 2007, Chromeo fans just couldn't stop shaking to the beat. Chromeo tickets are best accompanied by dancing shoes as the duo offers audiences the chance to let loose.

“Fancy Footwork” is the title track from Chromeo's breakthrough 2007 release. The disco-fusion pop melody layers funk-driven keyboard with robotic vocals. This album also featured “Bonafied Lovin,” one of the duo's most notable tracks. In 2008 the electronic duo teamed up to collaborate with Hall & Oates, a duo straight out of the 1980s.

By 2010, Chromeo released Business Casual, which received far less critical acclaim. However, the album progressed into a 1980s throwback with tunes such as “Grow Up,” “Hot Mess” and “When the Night Falls.” At Bonnaroo that year, Chromeo paired up on stage with their former collaboration partners Hall & Oates.

By blending modern keyboard with 70s- and 80s-influenced dance beats, Chromeo has marketed today's best version of disco. Disco never really died, and the funk laced beats put out by the Canadian duo are attestation of the genre's staying power.
