Chris Rock Rocks

Pros:

Audience Loved It

Best For:

Adults only

This was my first experience at a comedy show. I took my boyfriend out for his birthday and did not know what to expect. I didn't stop laughing until it was over. Chris Rock is real and tells it like it is whether you like it or not. I loved it. My only gripe is that the show started very late, but that was probably because it was being filmed. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. P.S. If you can't take profanity...this is not the show for you!!!

OFF THE CHAIN!

Pros:

Audience Loved It, Brilliant Acting, Great Comedy, OFF THE HOOK MATERIAL

Cons:

APOLLO WAS AN OVEN, OPENING ACT SO-SO, THE SHOW STARTED LATE

Best For:

CHILDREN OVER 16, Everyone

THERE WAS NO EXCUSE FOR THE DISORGANIZED MANNER IN WHICH THE SHOW WAS TIMED. IT WAS POSTED TO START AT 7:00 PM AND IT DID NOT START UNTIL 8:30 AND THAT WAS WITH THE OPENING ACT AND TO TOP IT OFF THERE WAS AN INTERMISSION RIGHT AFTER THE OPENING ACT SO MR. ROCK DID NOT COME ON THE STAGE UNTIL 9:00 PM. OUTRAGEOUS! I RUSHED TO BE ON TIME FOR NOTHING AND THEN SAT IN A VERY HOT THEATRE WITH HARDLY ANY AIR CONDITIONING TO SPEAK OF. OTHER THAN THAT, HIS PERFORMANCE MADE UP FOR ALL OF THIS WITH WAS FABULOUS.
