Chippendales Tickets

In 1979 the Chippendales formed, becoming the first ever all-male dance group to take stripping to the next level. The group performed for a primarily female audience, reinventing stripping as a form of entertainment. The show has had headliners that include Ian Ziering? from “90210,” Ronnie Magro of “Jersey Shore,” singer Jeff Timmons and the actor Joey Lawrence. The name Chippendale came from the furniture that adorned the Las Vegas night club where the dance group was created. What began as male burlesque quickly grew in size and style. The company began to present shows that paralleled Broadway in extravagance. The revue now includes songs, costumes and accompanying choreographed dance routines. Themed costumes aside, the traditional Chippendales outfit of leather pants and bow tie are fundamental to the show.

Once their popularity was cemented, the troupe began performing with famous male celebrities. The show often featured female celebrity hosts, including Karina Smirnoff of “Dancing with the Stars.” The show eventually went on the road, touring across the United States and Europe, offering the Chippendales’ Vegas glamour to audiences everywhere.
