Die Hard CHICAGO BEARS fans
By Scott Die Hard Bear Fan from Kegley,WV on 11/2/2008
Pros:
Stadium Packed, Watch my son at game
Best For:
Everyone

It was a once in a life time game.We live in southern West Virginia so the game was not to far.Plus was my son's birthday(9-14).If the bears played redskins or steelers that day we would have went there. The fans made the game fun to be at,they were true caroline fans.[...]the city police are very rude, walking from game one police told a driver of a car to go on if we didn't get out of the way, run us over. The other policeman was to busy picking on us about being bear fan. That is not their job to do that.

Carolina Panthers Tickets

They are among the youngest franchises in the National Football League, but that hasn't stopped the Carolina Panthers from enjoying a considerable amount of success over the years. Ever since they burst onto the scene in 1995, the Panthers have been a regular contender in the NFC, and anyone who picks up Carolina Panthers tickets will be treated to seeing one of the league's most exciting teams.

The Carolina Panthers are current members of the South Division of the NFC in the NFL. The team’s home field is Bank of America Stadium located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Founded in 1993 the Panthers joined the NFL as an expansion team together with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Former Baltimore Colts player Jerry Richardson voiced his desire to bring an NFL expansion team to the Carolina region. US Senators Jesse Helms from North Carolina and Ernest Hollings of South Carolina banded together despite party differences to lobby in support of the new team. By the time preseason games rolled around in 1989, 90 and 91, all of the Carolina Panthers tickets for future games were sold out before they had even decided where to place the new stadium.

The Panthers did not waste any time leaving their mark on the league. In just their second season in 1996, Carolina posted a 12-4 record before advancing to within one game of the Super Bowl - losing to eventual champion Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game. By 2001 the Panthers had the NFL record for most consecutive losses in one season and a league-worst record of 1-15. This contrasted starkly to the team’s 1996 record of 12-4.

In the 2003 season, the team raised their record to 11-5, winning a NFC South Division title and also garnering themselves the nickname the Cardiac Cats due to their knack for winning in overtime or by a very slim margin. That year they went on to take down the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game and headed to their first Super Bowl appearance against the New England Patriots. It was this Super Bowl that featured the infamous Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction. Despite being heavy underdogs, the Panthers managed to tie the game at 29-29 with just over one minute left. However, the Patriots kicked a field goal to take home the title. Advancing to Super Bowl XXXVIII against the New England Patriots was the Panthers greatest achievement in their young history.

As they look toward the future, the Panthers have a roster full of talented, young players, so they will likely be competing for a title for years to come. After the Panthers slid over to the NFC South they were saddled with new division rivals the Atlanta Falcons, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints. While the Panthers are relatively young in NFL terms, they have still acquired some serious contentions outside of their division. The Dallas Cowboys are possibly the Panthers’ biggest rival, owing to the team knocking the Cowboys out of the running in the Playoffs on multiple occasions. Next up, the Arizona Cardinals have become the Panthers’ newest foe after a series of surprising wins and losses that keep stoking the fire on the rivalry. The Panthers have won a few conference and division championships and made several Playoff appearances, though they have yet to secure that coveted Super Bowl title. Will they take it all the way this season? Don't miss out on the action. Buy your Carolina Panthers tickets now!
