Safe in stadium, scared outside
By Bad Time from Florida on 1/5/2008
Pros:
Good game, Safe inside the stadium
Cons:
Inadaquate Accomadations, Inadaquate security, Terrible surrounding
Best For:
Stay away

Security around the staduim before and after the game sucked, there was none. You should protect your fans if you want them to come back again When we got there Friday night to setup our rv in parking lot B the people that lived in the surrounding neighorhood were harassing us. They threaten my wife and made us feel very uncomfortable. We paid good money to stay there and we weren't treated right. We were so scared that we packed up right after the game and when home, knowing that we had paid for another night. You guys have a serouis problem there and one day someone is going to get hurt. I will never go back to that staduim again. The people kept saying "Welcome to beatuiful Orlando" when they should of been saying "Welcome to nightnare in parking Lot B" Experience rating: SUCKED!

Capital One Bowl Tickets

Coming in just behind the Gator Bowl and the Cotton Bowl, the Capital One Bowl is one of the oldest non-BCS bowl games on the college football circuit. Buy your Capital One Bowl tickets today to get your seat to one of the most provocative matchups of the season.

Usually bringing together teams from the Big Ten and the SEC, the Capital One Bowl is deemed one of the premier college football bowl games. Rising to this status not only places this bowl game in the upper echelon, it also means that the annual competition customarily takes place on New Year's Day.

Though it has gone by many name throughout its history, today the Capital One Bowl stands as one of the premier college football events of the year. Over the last 10-plus years, the popular post season event has grown by leaps and bounds and is among the many Jan. 1 bowl games that bring the best teams in the NCAA together. Anyone who picks up Capital One Bowl tickets is sure to be in for a treat.

Given its tie in with two big conferences, it's no wonder that the Capital One Bowl has hosted some memorable games over the years. In 2008, for instance, Michigan and Florida each put on an offensive clinic, which the Wolverines eventually won 41-35. The 2010 Capital One Bowl saw Penn State kick up a row against the LSU Tigers 19-17. 2011's Capital One Bowl will throw powerhouses Michigan State Spartans and Alabama Crimson Tide into the arena at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

The Capital One Bowl was first held in 1947, but back then it was known as the Tangerine Bowl. Over the ensuing several decades, the event went by a number of different names, including the Citrus Bowl, before finally settling on the Capital One Bowl in 2002. For the last two decades, it has matched up two of the best teams from the Big 10 and the SEC and brought them to Orlando, Fla., for the much anticipated New Year's Day contest.
