BYU Cougars College Basketball Tickets

Brigham Young University possesses a long and storied athletic tradition, and that is certainly true for its basketball program. Since it established the sport more than 110 years ago, BYU has enjoyed a considerable amount of success and its loyal and passionate fan base doesn't hesitate to pick up BYU Cougars basketball tickets.

The Cougars first hit the hardwood in 1902, and by the middle of the decade they had established themselves as mainstays in the NCAA Tournament. BYU's big breakthrough came under the direction of legendary coach Stan Watts, who brought the Cougars to seven tournaments in his 23 years at the helm and helped bring the program to the next level. Even after he retired, BYU has been among the most consistent programs in the country.

While BYU enjoyed success throughout much of the last 40 years, arguably their best season came in 2011. Led by eventual National Player of the Year Jimmer Fredette, the Cougars captured the regular season Mountain West Conference title while advancing to the Sweet 16 - their best finish in 30 years.

With a lengthy history of success and a pristine reputation, BYU has maintained its place among the NCAA's best programs, a spot it surely will not soon relinquish.
