Saw Bruce for the first time and he was better than I even hoped for. Did great instrumentals into classic songs and one of the best intro's ever. Played over two hours and would have played longer had the venue ( Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood NJ ) not told him at 10:30 which he announced to the crowd that he would have to pay overtime after 11PM. This is a concert not a preprogrammed show and to have an 11 PM curfew is obsurd. A least give the guy until 12 PM before you start hasseling him but I guess that is the operating procedure everywhere today. Spontaneity is a bad thing? Hope he comes bavk again to a different venue.
Nice ambience in a small orchestral hall on a wonderful college campus. A warm man who has provided me with so many personal memories. Anecdotal. Improvisational. Nice.
Front Row, Center Stage! Sound was great. Good job sound people. Bruce you are getting better and better. Extremely talented. Gives me chills. The crowd didn't know what they were experiencing.....as sometimes they don't. Hornsby has my vote and then some. I could go see him again and again.
