British Open Tickets

This is the oldest golf championship on earth and a must-see for golf fans, professional golfers and amateurs alike. This year, the British Open comes to Muirfield Golf Course in Edinburgh, Scotland. Be part of the action and pick up your British Open tickets.

Since kicking off in 1860 in Scotland, the British Open has grown to become one of the four major golf tournaments in the world, alongside the U.S. Open, the PGA Tour and the Masters Tournament. It's been open to amateurs since its second year, but it's known for hosting some of golf's biggest names: Tom Morris Jr., Willie Park and Willie Fernie took the championship multiple times in the 1800s, while more recent winners include Padraig Harrington and Tiger Woods. In total, only six amateurs have ever won the Open, and they all occurred before 1930.

This championship has always been played on links course - typically treeless greens. Muirfield Golf Course is known for being a challenge. In fact, Muirfield recently appointed golf course architect Martin Hawtree to make changes to fifteen holes in order to increase the level of difficulty. Ace it; buy your British Open tickets now!
