Crowd Was In To It, Engaging Stage Presence, Great Encores, Great fan interaction, Great Lighting, Great Sound, Outshining The Headliners, Perfect Set List
They Did Not Headline, Too Short
Best For:

I saw Poison and Def Leopard in Concert on August 17th at Darien Lake NY. Poison absolutely blew me away. I came home and couldn't talk for 2 weeks my voice was so strained. Bret Michaels wound up on his knees numerous times during their set. Reaching out to his fans, touching them. Playing with them at times. He even stole somebody's hat.The set, lighting, songs, everything was awesome. I wish they would have been the headliners that they should have been. Where Poison came out and played not only with the fans but each other. Def Leopard was very stiff. They NEVER reached out to a fan. NOT ONE! The smoke machine Def Leopard was enough to choke a horse and we were at an outdoor venue. The use of the rapid flashing strobe lights was ridiculous, unhealthy for a lot of Bret's fans that suffer seizure disorders like myself. Poison doesn't use them. Most of the songs Def Leopard played. Nobody knew. Def Leopard's set was so rehearsed they couldn't be bothered with the fans. Half the people left after Poison played anyway. I would've paid the price for the tickets if Poison played all night. I will NEVER go to another DEF LEOPARD show. They have no respect for the people that got them where they are today. Unlike Poison. Bret Michaels is ALWAYS telling and showing his fans how much he loves them. They return that love and respect to him 100 times over. Next year I want to see Poison/ Bret Michaels Band step up and take their proper place as the headlining act of the tour. They have NO REASON to take a backseat to ANYONE! EVER!

"Too much sound and not enough vocals"

Poor Sound Quality
Best For:

Bret is awesome and a great performer. Not sure what happenend that night in Miami, FL at the Orange Bowl. The music and sound was louder than his voice. Could not understand the words what he was saying or singing. BUT, he was hot! Just one of those nights, I guess. Rock on Bret!

Bret Michaels' performance at The North Fork Theatre in Westbury was nothing short of amazing! He was so visibly elated by the overwhelming response of the crowd and his performance was friggin' awesome! He looked amazing, of course, sounded great and is totally into rocking his audience! He gives 110% and I look forward to seeing him again!

Bret Mich Concert Tickets

Few rockers have personified the rock 'n' roll lifestyle like Bret Michaels. Before his career took off, he performed in a band called Paris with drummer Rikki Rockett, bass player Bobby Dall and guitarist Matt Smith. As the lead singer of the 1980s rock band Poison, Michaels produced such hits as "Talk Dirty to Me" and "Every Rose Has Its Thorn." Making their rounds in the Los Angeles club scene, the band signed with Enigma Records and released their first album, Look What the Cat Dragged In in 1987. Since the late 1990s and into the 2000s, Michaels has been working on solo projects that have seen commercial success. In July 2010, he released the album Custom Built which peaked at No. 1 on both the Independent and Hard Rock Albums charts while hitting No. 14 in the Billboard 200.

Michaels has starred in multiple reality TV shows as well. In 2005, he was on the panel of judges for "Nashville Star." Michaels snagged his own reality dating show called "Rock of Love," which aired three seasons, with three luck ladies winning the Poison frontman's heart. The rocker showcased his business savvy skills in 2010, when he appeared on and won the "Celebrity Apprentice." In 2013, Michaels, an avid RV enthusiast, created and launched "Rock My RV," another reality show hit.
