The race was awesome. My fiancee and I are not racing fans, but decided to try it out. We absolutely loved it! It was loud, exciting, and we had an AWESOME time!

TV does not convey the real experience of seeing these cars running that close, that fast. Open-wheel racing at its best. Two and three wide in the corners. The Victory Lane Club suite was great. All you can eat at the Chef's Table. Six food stations from Prime Rib to BBQ. Too bad I got full too quickly. I didn't get to try the other stations at the Chef's Table.
I had never been to Indy at the Texas Motor Speedway before and it was wonderful. Although you can watch it on television you don't feel the excitement, smell the ethenol and hear those powerful engines. You are on your own though for any commentary-the engines are just to loud to hear any announcements. Afterwards have your way out to your destination mapped out. We stayed across the street but due to the police detours we had to go way out of our way and most of the time didn't know where we were.
