BoDeans Concert Tickets

With a sound that blends mainstream rock with a heartland feel, the BoDeans are one of the most iconic bands of the 1990s. Since emerging more than 20 years ago, the Wisconsin-based band remains a popular act, and BoDeans tickets are still a hot item.

The BoDeans can trace their roots all the way back to the late 70s, but it was not until the late 80s when the country was alerted to their potential. In 1986, they released their debut album Love & Home & Sex & Dreams, and it was met with considerable critical acclaim. While it may not have earned the commercial success of their later records, it helped lay the groundwork for what would be a profitable decade. Whether or not they hit the commercial jackpot was of no consequence as the band was earning the respect of acts like U2 and David Bowie, both of whom they shared the stage with early on in their career.

Over the next several years, the BoDeans became a mainstay on rock and adult contemporary charts, and in 1993 they released what is perhaps their most iconic song "Closer to Free." A mild success commercially, the song was immortalized when it became the theme song for the popular 90s TV series "Party of Five."

In the years since, the band has continued to release popular albums including 2011's Indigo Dreams and 2012's American Made.
