Bobby McFerrin is an American vocalist and conductor who is best known for his 1988 smash hit “Don't Worry, Be Happy,” and covers of “Ave Maria,” “I Can See Clearly Now” and “I've Got a Feelin’.” The rhythmic octave-jumping in his music has become an indelible trademark throughout his four decade career. McFerrin blends all different kinds of genres, from jazz to pop and even classical music. His vocal range is astounding, capable of reaching expertly executed falsettos and then immediately transitioning into deep bass notes. Purchase your Bobby McFerrin tickets today and enjoy a night full of smooth music with this talented vocal virtuoso.

Bobby McFerrin began his journey as a musical artist at an early age. Born to two classical singers, he was immersed in various types of singing and later studied piano at the esteemed California State College at Sacramento. His professional career started when he began touring with the Ice Follies in the early 1970s, and he later made his solo vocal debut in 1977. He continued to perform with groups and then in 1988 he hit a professional milestone, recording the hit “Don't Worry, Be Happy.” Since then, McFerrin has recorded classical music with Yo Yo Ma and even conducted the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.
