Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament Tickets

Consisting of teams from the Big 12 conference, The Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament includes Baylor, Iowa State, the University of Kansas, Kansas State, the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, Texas Christian University, Texas Tech University, the University of Texas and the University of West Virginia. The two latest teams to join the conference are TCU and West Virginia, which became a part of the conference on July 1, 2012. The tournament has been played at the Sprint Center in Kansas City since 2010. However, the very first Big 12 conference tournament took place in 1997 at the Kemper Arena in Kansas City. Taking home the title was Kansas in a final game against Missouri, with a score of 87-60.

The second annual Big 12 men’s basketball tournament in 1998 ended with Oklahoma and Kansas going head-to-head. Kansas came out with a win yet again, with a final score of 72-58. In 1999, Kansas was victorious once again, taking home the title. The first team to break the Kansas streak and win the tournament was Iowa State, who beat out Oklahoma by 12 points with a final score of 70-58.
