Better Than Ezra Concert Tickets

The 1990s were jam-packed with alternative rock bands making a name for themselves, and though some of them have come and gone, Better Than Ezra has stuck around. The Louisiana-based trio has enjoyed considerable success during their lengthy career, and Better Than Ezra tickets remain as popular as ever.

Fronted by guitarist and lead singer Kevin Griffin, Better Than Ezra formed in the late 1980s, but it was not until the release of its first nationally-distributed album Deluxe that the band began to grow its loyal fan base. By the middle of the decade, it was evident that Griffin and the gang were destined for big things. While the band did not hit their stride until later in the 90s, by the mid-90s they were already sharing the stage with other bands that were destined for greatness like The Offspring, Violent Femmes and They Might Be Giants.

Better Than Ezra got its big break with the release of its second studio album, 1996's Friction, Baby. The record featured hit singles "King of New Orleans" and "Desperately Wanting," both of which enjoyed considerable success on modern rock charts.

In the years since breaking through, Better Than Ezra has maintained its place in the alternative rock scene. The 2009 album Paper Empire was one of the band's most successful records and is clear the trio isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
