Tony Award-winning actress Bernadette Peters is known for her countless Broadway performances as well as her film career, landing roles in "Silent Movie, The Jerk and Pennies From Heaven." Peters’ professional career started at a very young age. When she was just three years old, the singer made an appearance on Juvenile Jury, the game show "Name that Tune and The Horn & Hardart Children’s Hour." It wasn’t until 1967 that Peters made her Broadway debut in "Johnny No-Trump." The following year, she earned a Drama Desk Award for her performance in the musical Dames at Sea.

This singer’s voice and acting abilities don’t just take place on the Broadway stage, however. Peters certainly knows her way around a television set, having made a guest appearance on NBCs’ hit series "Smash" and landing a guest starring role on the two-hour season premiere of the ABC hit TV series "Grey’s Anatomy" in 2008. She also appeared opposite of Harry Connick, Jr. in the Lifetime movie, "Living Proof."
