Badfish Biography
Known throughout the California coast for their infectious grooves and uptempo concerts, Badfish have developed a reputation for being one of the finest reggae bands on the West Coast. Consisting of singer Ruben Salazar, DJ Chicho D, bassist Brooce Lee, drummer Mark Paul, guitarist Chris Evans, keyboardist Lucas Earley, turntablist DJ Panic, and saxophonist Sean Chaffins, the band first started playing around the Long Beach area and quickly grew a following upon their live debut in 1998. After playing several parties and small clubs, the band graduated to the Los Angeles club scene, where they got the attention of many of their contemporaries. Putting together an album in 2001, they donated a track to the Music to Get Undressed By soundtrack before dropping Whole Heap the next year. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
