Backstreet Boys Concert Tickets

The late 1990s were unquestionably the heyday of boy bands, and the Backstreet Boys helped get it all started. The Orlando-based quintet played an instrumental role in the phenomenon, and with boy bands making a come-back, the Backstreet Boys tickets offer a bit of nostalgia everyone can enjoy.

The Backstreet Boys can trace their roots back to the early 90s, when cousin Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell teamed up with Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and A.J. McLean. It wasn't long before the newly formed group began to gel, and in 1997, their self-titled debut album hit shelves in the United States. With now-iconic tracks such as "As Long As You Love Me" and "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)," the record sold more than 10 million albums and established the Backstreet Boys as stars.

With its foot firmly in the door, the band began to take off. Few acts were as popular during the late 90s and early 2000s, and the 1999 album Millennium shot to the top of the U.S. charts, selling more than 13 million copies.

As the popularity of boy bands waned, the Backstreet Boys became less visible by the middle of the decade. However, with the resurgence of boy bands like the Jonas Brothers, The Wanted and One Direction, many fans find themselves reminiscing about the heyday of the Backstreet boys, and those who grew up listening to them still hold a soft spot for their songs and they still remain a popular act.
